The first collaboration between Mr. Kato of “Mg-Craft”, who have produced a number of metal jigs, and “HOTS” is a highly responsive long slide jig, “Skill Gamma”. The center-weighed asymmetrical body has the characteristic head part which was shaven to the limit and the humpback shape at the rear part. It suppresses the pulling resistance during jerking action, and it catches the water current and slides sideways even with slow one-pitch jerking. The jig attracts the cautious and inactive targets with horizontal falling and irregular slide action and maintains the “timing of bite” for long period of time.
As well as jig movement, “Reflected light” is considered to be an important factor for attraction. “Skill Gamma” uses 3 types of reflecting materials; “Yabane Hologram” which reflects the light strongly and is made by MG-Craft, “Aluminum-base” which shines almost like the fish scale and “Silver Foil” which is a hand-made foil with less reflection. Although “Silver Foil” seems it is a complicated product as the foils are stuck one by one, the price is reasonable and it is practically made.

The humpback shape at the rear part catches the water current and triggers the sideways movement, and the smooth round surface on the front extends the distance.
